FOR SPANISH SPEAKERS

Join Federally and State-Certified Court Interpreter Ana Toro for this webinar focusing exclusively on the practice of interpreting in federal courts. In this 2.5 hour webinar, Ana will walk you through the stages of criminal cases typically heard in United States District Courts, terminology used in procedures ranging from plea hearings to pre-sentencing investigations, as well as on deploying appropriate modes of court interpreting in this fast-paced environment. Please, come prepared to practice!

Ana Toro-Greiner

Ana M. Toro-Greiner is a federally certified Spanish interpreter with 17 years of professional experience. She's been teaching her craft since 2010, most recently at New York University.  Currently, she works as a contract interpreter for federal courts and as a language consultant for companies in tech and education.
