Webinar Description

Leading! Lack of Foundation! Objection! In this class, learn briefly about "fundamental fairness" in immigration court and the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure (including when the rules do not apply in immigration). The class will focus on terminology applicable to many court settings such as "more prejudicial than probative," "hearsay," "leading question," "lack of foundation," and more.

Meet the Presenter

Andrew Bahr

Andrew Bahr is an immigration attorney and former ENG<>ESP SOSi interpreter. He has taught or co-taught interpreting classes for many organizations including Ayuda, Liberty Language Services, Multicultural Community Services, NYLAG, DC Public Schools, and NAJIT. He is a co-author of The Professional Medical Interpreter: A Comprehensive 40-Hour Medical Interpreting Course. Andrew is currently the sole practitioner at his practice in Woodbridge, VA.
