Part 2: Deepening Note-Taking Skills
Take your skills further in Part 2 as Agustín expands on advanced note-taking strategies tailored for interpreters. Build on what you learned in Part 1 and apply techniques in new scenarios.
Recognize the importance of meaning-based interpretation over literal translation
Apply structured note-taking techniques to improve accuracy and recall
Identify personal strengths and areas for improvement through guided self-assessment
Practice and refine intermediate-level consecutive interpreting through live exercises
Continuing education credits are approved for the following states:
2.5 CEUs: CO, MO, NM, OH, OR, PA, TN, UT, WI (States pending approval)
For states not listed, students can individually apply for CEUs in the specific state or states where needed by submitting all necessary information required by state prior to attending.
